Things that are annoying/frustrating me this week:
- It’s been cloudy outside since Sunday.
- No more Sports Week which means a full week of classes.
- For some bizarre reason probably relating to the SEA Games (as everything these days does), M1, M2, M4, and most M5 classes are cancelled all week, leaving Lenny and Giselle with an average of .73 classes to teach a day. However, because M3 and M6 apparently have tests to prepare for in March, they have classes all week. Therefore I have all 24 (plus 1 of teaching Thai teachers) classes to teach this week as I watch Lenny and Giselle download episodes of Family Guy and take bus trips.
- After a western-styled weekend in Bangkok, I am back to using squat toilets almost exclusively.
- I cannot find where to purchase a mirror – maybe it has something to do with the mirror the mysteriously crashed to the ground the weekend I was in Chaiyaphum – I suppose the 7 years of bad luck happen even when I wasn’t there to cause the break.
- My M3s do not understand the differences between who, what, where, and when.
But even as I’m writing this, the sun is coming out, it’s almost Thursday, and I must remind myself: I am in Thailand!
