My name’s Chrissy Kidd. I’m originally from Baltimore and I graduated in May 2007 with a BA in History and English. And now I’m finally doing what I want — living in/traveling to/vagabonding around another country.
I’m currently living in Thailand in a town called Pakthongchai in Nakhon Ratchasima Province. I came out here in September and spent a crazy three weeks or so getting certified to teach English as a foreign language (TEFL, ESL, TESOL, etc.) on a small and beautiful beach. In October, I moved into my wooden house in my Thai town and I am teaching English at the local high school. My students are mathayom 3 and 6, which is the equivalent to 9th and 12th grades in the States.
After my teaching gig ends on February 29th? Well, I have grand plans and no set direction right now. I may adore teaching, stay in Thailand, move onto another country or continent, come back home, or sell my fanny-pack-wearing-self on the streets of Berlin by Potsdamer Platz.
